My Health Insurance Agent Tells Me Not To Use My Insurance..

I absolutely despise having to deal with insurance and do not enjoy looking into this sort of stuff. I always get so annoyed with our healthcare system. I got quotes and am trying to pick a plan that lets me use it for therapy and general visits and what not but my agent said that she is worried if I go to therapy bi weekly that they will put something on my file and raise my rates or prevent me from getting life insurance in the future when I have kids and stuff.

Why the hell do I have insurance then? Other than catastrophic insurance if I can’t use it without being punished..

If I feel sick I wanna go to the doctor, if I want therapy I want to go to therapy.. however I don’t want to pay $125 a session.. I want my insurance to cover at least some of it and bring the cost down. But if I used them too much I get in trouble.

What really should I look for in an insurance. Should I try to get my therapist to say a certain diagnosis or description a certain condition that gets me covered but doesn’t look bad in the long run on my health file? What about if I get chiropractic is there something I should describe that won’t look bad in the long run? Any tips or advice on tricks to use when going to places would be helpful!
