Molina WILL Kill You- What Can I Do?

4 years ago, Molina "health insurance" almost killed me. I signed up for them in June, as I was getting my life together and had a "real" job after an illness, and purchased a plan on Health Insurance Marketplace. I picked the plan that claimed to have the best psychiatric care, as I have major depressive disorder and NEED my medication, and therapy is really helpful to me. I can be close to symptom free with proper management- without… it gets really bad.

They purposefully made up a list of like 500+ psychiatry providers I believe it was. Of those one or two were actually even healthcare providers, had psychiatric services and accepted Molina. That one or two did not accept new clients. Molina called themselves (the first page or two at least) but refused to take the ones that weren't actual in network psychiatric providers off. They did a bunch of other weird shady stuff with the list.

I called a bunch of times, and finally threatened to go to DFIC, so they put me on with a supervisor. She put me on a hold a few minutes, and then came back and said the nearest psychiatrist in network was over 100 miles away. So clearly they had a real list and a fraudulent list unless she called thousands of fake providers in a few minutes.

They also would only let me get labwork if I dropped it off at a lab several hours away. I explained I couldn't take my car that far (I didn't know if it would be okay on the highway) and they suggested public transport. The lab would never pick up or call back though so I had to forgo the labwork my doctor said I desperately needed.

Molina WILL kill you if you ever have something that turns serious.

I posted a long time ago, and I am still getting scared people Molina is killing. I want to know, what can I do? I am done with them, someone has to listen. I have a bunch of my stuff documented. What can I do to help? They are killing people.

And if you have had a similar experience, please reach out. I'm thinking of doing a petition if there is nothing better I can do. This is wrong.
