Medicaid vs BCBS Community Blue?

I currently work part-time and have Medicaid. I have several health conditions including lupus, and right now all of the infusions, injections, and meds that are absolutely necessary for me to be able to function are free. My goal is to work full-time, and the insurance that’s offered by my parish’s school board is Blue Cross Blue Shield Community Blue. I’ve researched the plan, but find some things hard to understand. I already know I would lose all of my current specialists, co-pays will be $60 each, and while I think I meet the criteria to be approved for continuation of my medications, I’m not sure how much I will be required to pay for them. The Medicaid income limit in my state is around $18,000 for one person, and the salary of the job I’m considering is anywhere from $20,000-24,000. With my part time job, I usually make $12,000-13,500 a year. Could anyone give me some guidance as to whether or not switching from part-time to full-time for the extra money would be worth it? People encourage me to stay on Medicaid, but how does a single person even afford anything and stay under the income limit? I’m living with my family and sold my car to make this work right now, but don’t want to live like this forever.
