Medi-Cal – Kaiser Renewal in CA

Hi! So just to explain my situation, I have been a Kaiser member since birth. After I was no longer on my parents insurance plan, I was covered through Medi-cal as I was a member already. In california, Northern and Southern Kaiser plans work differently, so since I permanently moved to Southern California I applied to medi-cal through the county and got approved. My most previous visit was to an Urgent Care, and I always verified that I was covered before going in as I knew I was technically a visiting patient. Turns out, my KP coverage was terminated from northern california October 1st of last year, but I was never sent a form to renew until late March. I was told that in order for me to be approved for the enrollment form I had to be a member within 6 months. I am 21 now so cannot use my parents to enroll myself either, and I am not married. I've spent all day visiting offices and calling trying to explain there was no way for me to submit the form before 6 months as I never received a form until now, and am unsure of what to do? Does anyone have any advice on who to contact?
