Medi-cal agents?

I’m in desperate need. I have tried to get ahold of medi-cal but have not been able to. I have trying to apply for medi-cal in CA. I’m currently living with my baby’s dad for financial reasons and to allow our son to grow up with both parents. However we are not together. We live in separate rooms. We will be filing separately. He will be claiming our son. Our son has his own insurance through his dad’s employer. When I apply for medi-cal do I add him into my household or I do not?

How does each program define household? Each program defines household a little differently.

Health Coverage (Medi-Cal): Spouse or registered domestic partner Children who live with you Parents who live in the home with their kids Anyone you claim on your IRS tax return, if you file one Anyone who claims you on a IRS tax return (Include all members of the household who claim you, and any family members of the household who claim you, and any family members living with you)
