Low Deductible health plan dual covered with HDHP/HSA

Hi so I am having some conflicting information between what my work is telling me and what I am reading and I’m hoping to get some clarification.

At my work, the health insurance is High deductible with an HSA. My work contributes a certain amount of money each year to the HSA. I put my wife on the insurance not only for the max contribution limit increase, but my work also increased what they will contribute to my HSA.

Meanwhile, my wife is also enrolled in the insurance that her work offers. Her insurance is low deductible.

From my reading on the IRS page, this is only an issue if I am also covered by her low deductible plan, which I am not. My wife is the only one who is dually covered.

So the conflicting information is coming from my work. They stated “Employees and their dependents cannot have dual coverage unless both plans are "compliant" HDHSA plans.”

Am I breaking any rules with the IRS by keeping my wife on my high deductible plan and contributing the max family limit to my HSA? (While she is also covered by her low deductible health insurance)

Any clarification and sources would be a huge help!
