Hello, I'm not even sure what I'm looking for, just some guidance. I had health insurance coverage through Healthcare Marketplace. Yesterday I was notified that my coverage was cancelled due to nonpayment of my premium. Essentially my autopay did not work for the month of May until now. I received one email in May that I missed a payment, and then nothing. Of course I missed this email. Obviously I realize this is my fault, I was negligent. I've spokes to my insurance directly as well as healthcare marketplace and essentially I've just been told there is nothing to be done. I don't qualify for a special enrollment per through either. I'm chronically ill so health insurance has always been a high priority. I get $5k infusions every 6 weeks that I obviously can't afford without insurance. I already declined coverage through my workplace because I had established insurance before I started working there. I'm panicking and I really don't know what to do.
