law school, need health insurance advice

Good morning,

I am 26F in Georgia with pre-existing condition of Crohn's Disease, on adalimumab (humira, amjevita).

I recently left my job to go to law school, so I had an income from Jan 2024 – July 2024. I have health insurance through my school but it sucks. $186 to go to the GI dr, and it barely covers any medication, and the version of my crohn's disease medicine it does cover costs $400+.

I am not able to afford this. Through my job, I had Kaiser. I actually really liked them, they were easy for me to use, and took an amjevita copay card, so I did not have to pay out of pocket. It was a good option for me.

I am currently out of my medication and desperately need help with my situation.

I would ideally like to get back on Kaiser. I spoke to a representative through Kaiser and they said I can get Kaiser through the marketplace, and get a subsidy for $30/month for a plan that covers my medication. When I filled out the subsidy application, it says "Do you have health insurance?" and technically, I do through the school. It's my understanding that this will bar me from getting the subsidy. I do not currently have an income, but I did from Jan 2024 – July 2024 (about $25k). Would this also bar me from getting a subsidy?

Can someone please tell me what kind of options I have? What should I do? I am so confused and stressed about this situation, it's making me want to drop out of school and go back to work.
