Issues with United Healthcare

Hey all.

IL resident here, started a plan with United Healthcare in January through the Marketplace. When I selected my plan it explicitly said $0 visits with PCP, a big selling point for me. My regular doctor is in their network and I have continued to see him. I did select him as my PCP after my first office visit, was told I had to wait two months. I take medication for ADHD and have to do a follow up appt every three months. Sometimes I do this while at the doctor for other issues, out of convenience. My issue is, United Healthcare is refusing to cover any of my PCP visits because I am receiving mental health services. I've spoken to a number of their reps and also the billing office of my doc. The visits are being coded as regular office visits but the diagnostic codes say mental health, leading UH to not cover the visit in full. They are only covering a percentage of the charges because they fall under mental health services.

Does this sound right? Anything I can do to possibly get these visits covered? Thanks!
