Issues with Quest Diagnostic

I posted this on another subreddit and I’m not sure what to flair it as.

Back in August, I had some blood work done. We have gone to Quest before and we have only had to pay what our insurance billed us. In mid to late September, I received a bill from Quest for $300, which was highly unusual. After going back and forth with Quest and my insurance company, they said there was some issues with figuring out the insurance but they said it would get resolved. (After reading some additional posts, if I recall correctly, it might have been a code issue).

I finally received a bill from my insurance maybe a month ago telling me how much I had to pay (which was significantly less). The balance was still in Quest and I called twice about this. I was told it would get resolved.

Now, they are charging my card. I can’t call because it’s a Sunday and it’s early, but I’m furious. If I have to pay, I guess I will. I’m just confused considering that I was told that all I needed to pay was my insurance bill. Some additional information that wasn’t in the other post because I just found out was that my mom had the same type done and this was not an issue
