Hello!

I am kinda at a loss here.

In February, I receiver laser eye surgery. I was informed by my colleagues that this was covered up to $2,400 with my insurance and I pay the rest. I called my insurance to confirm this was correct (it's an Aetna affiliate) they informed me it was. I go in, get a quote, and information on the procedure and choose the newest method SMILE as it was the best option for me. I give my information to the office team to assist but they were having no luck with my insurance. I give my insurance a call and was informed that I could go through with the procedure and I could submit the claim when it's completed. So I do just that and receive all the information, waited my 4 or 5 weeks to receive my first denial. I call them up and they informed me there were no codes. After talking on the phone, there were some and to call back in 4 weeks. I do just that and they missed the review so it was escalated to a manager. All this back and forth waiting to come to find out they're denying for the codes. They're not giving me more information, I have had 3 way calls with the doctor's office I went to for my eye surgery and the insurance but the insurance isn't giving any information as to what codes are wrong and what codes they need as they claim it would be insurance fraud. The doctor's office and I are really trying to figure out what they want but we're both at a loss.

With all this being said, is there anything else I could do for my insurance? The office is willing to work with me if they knew what more they could do but the insurance company isn't working with me.

Thank you!
