Is there someone I could hire to be in charge of my health insurance?

A person can hire an accountant or tax person to manage their finances or taxes. This makes sense because the average person might not have the knowledge to do these things. Sometimes taxes or financial stuff can be complicated.

Is there someone I could hire who could handle all my health insurance stuff? I don’t have health insurance right now, but I’m honestly afraid to buy any after reading some of the stories in this subreddit.

I don’t understand any health insurance stuff and I don’t think I would ever be able to learn it myself without legitimately going crazy first. My mental health is already in the gutter and I can’t remember this type of information. I would rather die than buy insurance and then get screwed over like some people here. I don’t even have any income. I have money in my checking account that I earned when I was a child and teenager, but I don’t want to risk losing it if I can’t pay a doctor.

Basically, it would be awesome if I could pay a knowledgeable person to help me pick out the insurance that’s right for me. Then I could have them take care of issues that might come up. Instead of me having to call between the doctor and health insurance, this person would be responsible.

Does anything like this exist? I’m guessing not from everything I’ve read.
