Is there someone I can call that can help me with coverages if I’m not a member of their insurance company/ don’t have a policy?

So I’m in MD. I’m a type 1 diabetic with a decent amount of prescriptions. Going through Maryland health connection and have a rep/ assistance. The lady has been super helpful but what I’m struggling to find is if my medications/ prescriptions are covered with the policies I am looking at. So far I’m in between Bluechoice HMO and UHC Gold Value.

On carefirst’s site, their drug search is damn near useless. I do know they don’t cover ANY insulin so I’m likely out on that one.

On UHC’s site I found MOST my prescriptions but certain ones I can’t find. I’m a type 1 diabetic and need continuous glucose monitors (bastards don’t cover than AND it won’t count towards my deductible). I also need insulin pump supplies but can’t find anything. I’m thinking it’s durable medical equipment but can’t find anything searchable for that in their website.

Is there a service I can call to help further? Can I call UHC or Carefirst directly if I’m not a member? I know they make this damn near impossible on purpose but I’m in need of some serious help or this next year will ruin me financially. Like it does every damn year.

Yes my employer gives health insurance but I opted out. It costs me nearly $900 per month with a $7,000 deductible and a $14,000 OP max lol.
