Is it normal for my medicaid MCO approval to take >30 days?

I recently moved from Georgia to Maryland and when I applied for health coverage here, they said I had to choose medicaid since I made too little for normal insurance. I applied on 2/23 and my enrollment status for medicaid was immediately approved, but my MCO enrollment status is still pending.

I tried calling last week to make sure I filed everything right, but they couldn't give me any information and put in a help ticket to escalate the issue. I got an email the next day saying the issue was resolved and my case was closed, but when I called again, the woman said she still couldn't give me any information and that my case was still open. When I asked her whether it was normal for it to take this long, she said she couldn't give out any information about time estimates. As of right now, my MCO still hasn't been approved.

I'm disabled, so this extra wait time and the lack of answers I'm getting is really stressing me out. My Georgia healthcare will be no longer in effect by the end of this month, so I guess I just want some kind of reassurance that this is normal and that I haven't been totally lost in the system.
