Is a farm bureau plan (non ACA compliant) worth it or should I just go uninsured?

I know an ACA plan is better, but I don’t have another option due to missing the window. I lost my job and I was planning on purchasing COBRA but since I clicked on the COBRA application, this started a 45 day window for payment which I was unaware of (I thought I was just checking the price, not signing up for COBRA since I never submitted it.) Now I cannot buy COBRA unless my letter of appeal for non-payment is approved and I cannot buy ACA due to missing the window.

If I can’t get proper real insurance through a job, I will sign up for ACA around Nov 1 but it won’t kick in until January.

So, with that said, if my COBRA appeal does not get approved I will be without insurance for 90 days. I was looking at a farm bureau plan. Such as this one. https://fbhealthplans.com/plans/individual-family-plans/core-choice/

I 100% know an ACA compliant plan is better. I will definitely buy an ACA compliant plan at my soonest window/opportunity, regardless of whether I have a farm bureau plan or not. My question is, is a farm bureau plan better than being completely uninsured?

I saw some concerning posts such as this one.

Any experience here with non-ACA-compliant plans?

“In addition, they tend to have very little negotiating power, so the uninsured cash price you pay may actually be lower than what you pay as an “insured” patient. Their networks are usually very limited.

Is it true that you could get a lower rate as completely uninsured with a hospital than with a non ACA compliant plan? Because of cash pay bargaining?
