Innovative Partners Insurance scam (HELP please)

Hi All, I recently enrolled in a health insurance plan with Innovate Partners (affiliated with First Health). I enrolled with an agent I connected to through the ObamaCare site. I thought I was pretty diligent when I enrolled with them over the phone; I asked them to tell me what hospitals and doctors were within network with the insurance (they listed several), and I asked about costs and cancellation policies. They confirmed that I could cancel the plan at any time. They were even willing to lower my “activation fee”. All seemed well until it was time to find a doctor in network and schedule an appointment. None of the hospitals they gave me over the phone will accept this insurance. This prompted me to go online and read reviews and other people’s experiences with this company and OH BOY… I wish I had done this before enrolling.

The general consensus seems to be that this company scams people out of their money. It’s damn near impossible to find a hospital or medical facility that accepts this insurance. And when you call the company to try to cancel your plan, they hang up or give you the run around and refuse to let you cancel. I am in panic mode now and looking for advice from anyone who has dealt with them or has had a similar experience. I know my next steps will be to email them that I want to cancel my plan (so it’s in writing) and to call them to try to cancel over the phone as well. But based on the reviews I’ve read online, they won’t let you cancel over the phone and they don’t respond to emails. I’m also unable to access their online portal. I am trying to register with the code they emailed me, but it won’t work (did anyone else have this issue)?

What should I do/how should I go about canceling my plan, getting a refund, and stopping them from charging me again in the future? It is still within my 30 days of enrollment.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
