I’m 33 weeks pregnant and my insurance is giving me the run around. What do I do?

Age-26/ zip-93311/ income-$1,200 per month work part time and nursing student As the title states, I’m 33 weeks pregnant and I’m basically without care because of my insurance and inadequate agents over the phone. The initial issue was that the OB I was seeing was referring me to get ultrasounds done at a location that was not covered by the specific medical group my insurance had me under. They advised me to switch my medical group to one that both covered my OB and the ultrasound place. My biggest concern was making sure my OB was covered and I was assured both were covered. I find out a month later that my OB is not covered under this medical group and that I either need to switch back or find a new doctor. At this point I was 28 weeks and my insurance’s policy is that I am not allowed to switch after 24. I filed a grievance and a request to still receive care from my now out of network provider but they denied the request and determined I need to seek care with a provider in network. After getting an appointment and going through all the procedures needed by this new OB clinic I am now currently 33 weeks. Today, The doctor basically refused to do any diagnostic testing because I am so far along and he is wanting to wait until he can get my medical records (which he is requesting I go and pick up). He basically feels I should not be establishing new care with him this far along. He did let me know I am measuring 4 weeks behind and that he is not contracted to deliver at the hospital my new medical group is contracted with. Which doesn’t work because I need a scheduled C-section. I called the new medical group and they can’t find any provider that will see me this far along and there suggestion was to retalk to the doctor. I called my insurance again and they refuse to switch the medical group but will have the grievance department get back to me in 72 hours. Does any one have any advice on this? I feel like this is getting dangerous for both me and my baby and I have no idea what to do next.
