If an orthodontist is getting surplus from insurance am I entitled to a refund?

I have a 24-month contract with braces, where my monthly payment is based on me splitting 50/50 with my insurance.

I switched insurances providers just under 1 year in, and I noticed with my new insurance they billed them a large amount that exceeds the monthly payments since I have had them.

Both my insurances combined have paid $1.85K after 11 months, when the total amount they were expected to pay based on the contract was $2.5K covering 50% over 24 months. That's already nearly 75% of the 24 month total paid and the monthly billing they are now doing for my current insurance is above the monthly bill I am paying… again, despite me paying based on 50% coverage.

It seems like they are just getting all money they can from insurance (exceeding 50%), while still having me pay 50%.

Am I entitled to a partial refund for the 50% portion I am paying if the insurance coverage ends up exceeding 50%?
