I was sent by a doctor for procedure to tear2 facility and now I drown in bills

My doctor scheduled endoscopy at a different office/hospital location from his because he rents out facility for procedures. My doctor is in tear1. After going to procedure and paying 90% of deductible on the day of procedure (close to $1400), I keep receiving bills. I called Horizon and they told me that the deductible I paid went to tear2 (hospital where procedure took place), but the different bills I receive come from my doctor's office for the same procedure.

So, apparently, my tear2 deductible is $3K, which at this point is only satisfied for less than a half ($1400), and those money don't count towards tear1. Now I have to pay another $1200+ of those bills coming from my doctor because his bills go to tear1, where deductible is $1500.

My question is, was that my responsibility to ask a doctor again if the facility he rents out is in tear1? In my head, it's my doctor, so he/his office know and accept my insurance, and thus he cannot do anything that would not be covered under tear1 or covered at all. Did his office have responsibility to warn me? What if this is the only location he does procedures, and I didn't have other choice?

Any tips how can I fight it? I know it doesn't seem like a huge amount, but it is for me, and I always pay my bills and being a good citizen and trying to do the right thing. But this is just too much. Thank you for any tips.
