I think a company is trying to scam me by submitting claims to Aetna for services I never received

I had neck surgery 3 weeks ago. About a week ago, I received notice from Aetna about out-of-network services performed during my surgery. I thought this would just be a simple case of my anesthesiologist needing to be recognized as "in-network" but when I called my surgery center, they said they have no idea who this company or doctor is that is billing me or what these services are. They told me it could be a scam since they only use the same set of in-network providers that they are familiar with and they have not submitted any claim to the insurance company yet.

So then I called the company listed on the bill and they claimed I gave my signature authorization for these services during the surgery. I asked for a copy of the paperwork I supposedly signed. They said they would email it to me. I waited on the phone with the customer support agent for about 15 minutes but never received an email. I then called back and the same customer support agent answered.

What do I do? Aetna is telling me I owe $15k for these out of network costs.
