I never received bills from earlier this year?

I’ll be brief.

I had three appointments between January and March of this year. I received EOB’s from my insurance on all of them, but a bill from only one – which I paid. I paid an ENT doctor. But I also went to get a CT scan with that same doctor, and also saw an ophthalmologist. The CT scan and the Eye doctor bill never came.

I kept waiting for the bills from the others but they never showed up.

I’ve gotten calls from “portfolio recovery” off and on. I always ignored them because I figured they were some solicitor. However, I saw a post on Reddit yesterday from someone mentioning portfolio recovery, and found out that it is a legitimate collections company.

They never leave a message. I have never gotten mail from them. Weirdly, the earliest calls would have been either before or during the appointment timeframe. Certainly not enough time for it to go in to collections. If it’s for something else then I have no idea what that could be. The last time they called was the middle of August according to my call history.

I set up a credit karma and my credit is apparently good, and it says there is nothing in collections. Although I admit I’m not entirely certain how all that works, or if it is even aware of anything happening outside of my bank specifically.

Should I just continue to wait?
