I need some help understanding my UHC coverage. United healthcare shows online that on July, 20/2023 my claim was processed, and the plan discount was for the exact amount as amount billed however, 10 days early on July, 11 I received a letter from United healthcare, saying I was not covered. Help?

So on July 2nd I was admitted to the hospital from July 2nd -8th, prior to this, I went to the ER 11 times within 2 weeks, my BP spiked to 250/156 or higher on numerous occasions, I had extreme nausea, vomiting and severe pain where they had to give me Dilaudid 4mg every 4 hours…so that’s why I was admitted. Pisses me off that UHC says that my “symptoms improved with treatment, I could have gone a different route and didn’t need to be admitted”, when let’s be real, I could have had a stroke and was in severe pain and agony. I had to go to the ER 11 times due to extreme low potassium and arrhythmias and hypovolenia before they finally admitted me to observe me for a week and see what was wrong, and figured out I had a hiatal hernia pushing against my heart causing a cardiac tamponade and had to get surgery, so yeah, pretty serious, also, I had a 3 inch gallstone lodged in my gallbladder which had to be removed.

On the UHC website It shows amount billed was $80238.99 by the hospital, and my plan discount is $80238.99 (processed on July 20th, 2023), but 10 days earlier on July 11th I get a letter from UHC saying that I wasn’t covered and that they contacted the hospital to say I wasn’t covered.

However on the UHC website under claims, it says “PROCESSED ON 07/20/2023 – IN NETWORK” Amount billed: $80238.99 Plan discount: $80238.99 Plan paid: $0 You pay: $0 Total amount owed: $0.00

So…regardless of the letter, do I owe $0.00, or do I owe basically half a mortgage?. can anyone explain what plan discount means? And what plan paid means? I don’t really understand this at all.. if I’m not covered, then why is it showing it is covered? Is the claims processed accurate on the UHC website?
