I have Voya my wife has Aflac. We are having a baby

Hello

My wife and I got married last week which allowed both of us through our jobs to update our benefits to add each other.

In the process of doing this we compared and contrasted the differences between the two plans and decided on the best solution considering she is having a baby in December as well.

We both are offered supplemental voluntary coverage through our jobs. My job offers Voya her job offers Aflac.

These plans will pay us a minimum of $1k for a hospital visit plus an additional $100/day (her job is $150/day)

This was never something I considered before as a single man because I never go to the hospital but with an inevitably large hospital bill coming I am trying to mitigate those costs as much as possible making this plan (which would only cost me $15/m) a no brainer.

My question is… Can my wife and I double dip this because we would be filing claims with 2 different companies or is that not allowed? I cannot find ANYTHING A that tells me I cannot.
