I have absolutely nothing… Here’s how

So, as many people in here can probably relate, my parents were shit and never actually got me any insurance. My guardian never got me insurance. I've been trying my hardest but Jesus CHRIST I cant get it by myself it seems.
I've had to get medications purely out of pocket, I don't even have state insurance.

ok so that explains the title, anyway

I'm 19F, obviously not a minor and I'm applying to college as independent (no idea if this is a factor or not but there's that). My sister, 24, who I still live with is a teacher and gets insurance through the her job in good ol North Carolina (don't come here its bad). Can I be added to her insurance since I literally have nothing?

She wasn't my guardian, but shes put on all of my forms if applicable. Sorry if this is a stupid question, I'm just trynna get through life and this is just one thing i CANT figure out for my life
