I broke my leg on the 12 month of the 12 month policy

I broke my leg earlier this month and had an insurance policy confirmed will cover everything on this month. However, my policy ends at the end of this month, and my checkups and cast removal will continue at least until mid-next month. I wanted to renew my policy but realized that my injury could now be considered a preexisting condition, which was confirmed by my insurer.

Is there a way around this? I'm also concerned that if I need emergency surgery on my leg in the future, it might be excluded as a preexisting condition(my policy includes emergencies) Are there any insurance policies in the EU that could help in this situation? It's worth noting that the remaining 15 days are only for checkups and X-rays at the hospital—nothing major. I’ve read that some policies accept preexisting conditions. Any advice or help would be appreciated. Any experts willing to help? I am okay with paying much per month. I am in EU. Thanks.
