I am now in the Medicaid coverage gap, what do I do now?

So it’s been about half a year since I’ve been taken off Medicaid. I am a in my twenties adult female without children. I have applied for Medicaid time and time again but have been denied due to ineligibility, basically I fall within the Medicaid coverage Gap. My parents are just a struggling as me if not more so they qualify for Medicaid due to their disabilities so there is no family insurance or anything that I can be a part of. I live in South Carolina a state where if you’re an able body adult even if you’re basically borderline poverty or make low wages you will still not be covered. I don’t have a job that offers benefits, and I do make a severely low wage so the option of purchasing a private insurance is a non-starter. And please don’t say get a better job, but anyway what are some of my options, because i live in constant fear of getting sick or injury or even getting a cavity knowing full well I cannot pay for it. I looked at the healthcare.gov options but they’re in this special enrollment. I don’t know if it’s because it’s special enrollment but the deductibles and the per month seem pretty high for supposedly low-cost and Affordable Health Care. The deductibles seems to be about at a couple thousand (the ones I looked at). Are there any other cheaper options or programs for anybody like me that’s in that gap for adults. Do the plans on the site ever come down with the Open Enrollment in November?
