Husband’s previous job accidentally added him to health insurance before the 30 day employment ..

Hi. So I did make a long post before. Embarrassed I deleted it. To cut to the chase. Looks like husband's short lived employer, did accidentally have him on the insurance. He had an old knee injury flare-up. Possibly from climbing in and out of the truck. He decided it's best that maybe he didn't take the job after all. Only worked 2 days. Hr said ok we'll terminate. The same week We get the insurance cards in the mail, confused because initially if he stayed it would've started 9/1. Have masshealth as secondary.

Then we had an call from a provider stating a claim was declined showed other insurance. Called wellsense(masshealth plan we have), not sure why that happened. Resubmit the claim.

Anyway, my husband is being super stubborn about it he got mad at me. I'm exhausted telling him it's literally important – we'll be stuck with the bills. He finally texted Hr.

Which I wouldn't, I would've just called. Anyway and hr states no, he wasn't on the insurance. I told him, well yes it shows it on the actual website..we called. I think he only told her the "website".

I'm guessing maybe she misunderstood thinking he was talking about the employee app. Which isn't even acitve anymore. Again, she said, "No, you weren't enrolled. It's the hire date" not actually enrolled. All he says is "ok". Uh, no, it's not!

So finally I tell him, "Well, your paystub had the medical deduction" from the only check he received. He tells her that.

So she says, "oh we are aware of that I'll give you "Mary"(name changed) information tomorrow (i guess it was getting late) to contact her, and she can further assist you. I guess, according to him, she's in charge of the health/benefis enrollment.

So I guess I'm just wondering can they truly see he was accidentally enrolled? With the payment being withdrawn. Or will it be a pain in the butt and its going to be a fight, phone tag. lol. I'm worried. My husband almost said to me , "Oh, see were fine not enrolled." Until I made a stink, like money was taken for it. We called The phone # on card. Duh. Lol.

Just weird she stated they knew the money was taken out, but when were they going to fix everything, or even tell him? Lol.

I think he feels he's being annoying, but it's important to get it taken care of.

Bummed because I'll have to cancel appointments until it's fixed.
