How can I get a CT full-body scan under my parents’ insurance without them knowing? I am worried that I may have cancer, and if this is the case, I would prefer to keep this a secret. I am an American 19-year-old male living in Georgia.

For context, I live in the United States (Georgia) and am 19 years old. I was also wondering if it would be possible to get any treatments (if I do in fact have cancer) without them knowing as well, but using their insurance. I was also wondering how I would even go about scheduling an appointment and how I would present my information such that it is billed to my insurance and not me directly. I do not have an insurance card. I asked my mother to ask for one about a month ago under the pretense that I would keep it under my wallet for emergencies, but it still has not arrived. Maybe I should push her to ask again. Thank you for any possible replies. I realize that this may seem in some sense to be taking advantage of my parents in some form, or doing something behind their back, etc. Perhaps that is true, but if I do have cancer I would rather battle it alone and not bring any unneeded stress unto others who do not deserve it. I don’t want to get into specifics, but I would also like to note that I am not being a hypochondriac and have very specific symptoms that have cropped up fairly recently that have caused me to suspect this. If this question seems like it was made by an idiot, well, that’s because it kinda was. I have no idea how the american healthcare or insurance system works and have never even made my own doctors appointment, so honestly everything will probably need to be explained to me from scratch.
Thanks a million to anyone who takes the time to respond to this, you are amazing 🙂
