Help me understand my options (Kentucky)

Hi! I’m very new to this sub and Reddit in general, but I am looking for some guidance.

I am 29, my spouse is 31. We have two children (1 year old twins) who have complex medical needs. Currently, we make about 85k yearly combined. It has become increasingly clear that I am going to have to leave my job in order to care for our children full time, making our household income about 45-50k yearly. My children are on SSI which allows them Medicaid coverage, so their insurance is not a current concern but I don’t believe my spouse and I will qualify. My spouse is self employed and therefore does not have the option of insurance through an employer at this time.

I have contacted kynect and I’m even more confused. I am hoping someone can explain to me our options for insurance through the marketplace and how to somehow estimate what our monthly out of pocket cost would be.

I am willing to provide as much information as I need to anyone willing to help me understand our options/budget for our very big upcoming life change. I have had a job and health insurance through a jon since I was very young so my only past knowledge of any health insurance is signing up through an employer and this is the most stressful part of making this change, although we are willing to do what we need to make sure our children have the best care.
