As the title says I am very frustrated with hralthcomp. This is the insurance I have access to/had to switch to rececntly from my company… well it's Athem Blue Cross via HealthComp. I've been to 2 different doctors, both of which I called my insurance to verify that they were "in network". Once I get there, the office says they can't find or verify my health insurance. So now I'm stuck with 2 large bills and having to submit claims. I've tried to call HeathComp to get help on this issue that providers can't verify my insurance (not to mention my co-workers face similar issues/experiences). It's very frustrating as one of my doctors said that my insurance "wont answer/won't pay" which they didn't have much detail on, and the other said they are having difficulty contacting them. It all seems so strange. Even scam like. How do I make sure this doesn't continue happening? I need to be able to go to the doctor as I have chronic conditions and this current system is impossible to work with and I don't want to go in not knowing if I'll be responsible for thousands of dollars. HealthComp has been very unhelpful at this point in helping with any of these issues after hours of phone calls. I'm just at a loss about this all and any help would be appreciated.
