Health Insurance University of Florida

I am 23 and will be attending graduate school at UF in the fall and need help with insurance. My dads military plan only allows for dependents under 21 to be on the plan, so i clearly do not fall in that category. I currently work a full time job with insurance, however will be needing to end that in a couple weeks before I start school. With that being said, I have made over $17,000 since January and have a couple paychecks before I resign. The money that I have saved is solely for living purposes, and I really don't want to pay $3,000 annually for the school issued healthcare plan. I am not sure what the best route to take is. I will not be able to work while in school, and would love to find a cheaper plan with the following requirements https://healthcompliance.shcc.ufl.edu/health-insurance-requirement/comparable-coverage/

If anyone has previously done this themselves, I would greatly appreciate any and all advice. I need to do this asap before I get charged for outrageous insurance! Thank you thank you thank you!
