Health insurance plans in Michigan

I’m 26 and living in Michigan.

My employer is offering to pay my health insurance, but it’s cheaper for the new business to have me find my own coverage plan than to start one themselves.

I’m unable to qualify for the extended enrollment for government health care, and plan to reapply in November, but I need to find insurance in the meantime.

At the end of the summer, I’m turning 27. I was covered by my father’s until last year, and missed the deadline in January.

Additionally, my permanent address at the moment is across the state at my mother’s house, that she just put up for sale. So in the foreseeable future, my permanent address will be changing – and I know that makes a difference with insurance.

Anybody have any really good experiences with insurance agents? I find it difficult to trust and field through the dozens of spam calls I receive each day. I obviously don’t want to pay an exuberant amount, but I want a decent plan.

Any advice or people I could reach out to that will be helpful?

EDIT: I know this is kind of asking for solicitation, but with a mid-year deadline coming up soon, I’m kinda panicking.
