Health insurance back home while working for the U.S. government overseas

I will be working as a contractor for the U.S. government overseas in 2024 (starting in January). I will have in-country coverage while I am in the host country. My 1099 for 2024 should be about $35,000. My questions are, how do I keep my Marketplace policy that is currently free (because of low income), and if I make $35,000 next year in 1099 wages, how much will I need to pay, if my policy is $900 a month, but currently fully-subsidized?

The administrator for the U.S. government program I will be working for oversas writes the following:

For health insurance, Fellows are automatically enrolled in a plan called the Accident and Sickness Program for Exchanges (ASPE) through Seven Corners Travel Insurance. You can check out the plan website here: https://www.sevencorners.com/about/gov/usdos. The important thing to note is that ASPE is a supplementary travelers health insurance that covers you in your country of assignment only (although coverage can be temporarily extended to other countries if we ask you to go there for program-related activities). We strongly recommend that Fellows maintain whatever coverage they have in the US in case they are medically evacuated back home. I can’t speak to whether your Obamacare policy would cover you overseas, unfortunately, so I would also encourage you to reach out to your plan manager to find out.
