HDHP or PPO not offered by employer based off onboarding designation

You will not believe this shit.

So my employers benefits… what they offer you hdhp, ppo, limited indemnity MEC plans are determined by onboarding classification. What the hell that is I don't know. I work 40 hours per week. Every other job I've had everyone was offered the same plans as long as they were full time.

For some reason I was offered these two shitty indemnity plans that aren't major medical. She said it sounds like I was questioning benefits and said I'd have to talk to HR if so. Ridiculous.

I been on phone with them, Ohio job and family services for medicaid today and market place last week.

ODJFS wants me to send them employment separation from my old job to close that case due to income increase. I emailed the HR manager and received it.

They want employment verification form from new and other verification 4/19 from old one to finish processing and said if income made me ineligible my information would be sent to marketplace automatically.

I received the form from new employer so that will be a wrap for medicaid.

I told her I jumped the gun applying and enrolling and putting medicaid end date for 4/30 but she said I'm good since once verification received they have ten days to make decision.

I have never ever been in this situation before where an employer doesn't offer everyone the same health shit. I got all information needed that they didn't offer me ACA compliant insurance.

Only reason I'm not quitting is because job easy as heck and I like the people and my roommates my ride. This insurance stuff is messed up.
