Has anyone had experiences with "AdvantCare WellPremium"?
After being let go from my job, I found a health insurance called “advantcare wellpremium.” The agent that sold me the health plan confirmed with me that all my medications and doctors were in network, but as soon as a brought my insurance card to my providers and pharmacist, they said that they don’t accept this health insurance and that it doesn’t cover my medications. I’m shocked, sad, broken–I didn’t even have money to buy the insurance in the first place due to losing my job, so I put it on a credit card, thinking I’d pay it off once I got a new job. But now it doesn’t even cover anything I need and I’m $450 further in debt with no income yet. I called them to cancel today and asked if a refund was possible and they said they would “put a request in,” which, since everything else has gone wrong, didn’t even sound very reassuring. I tried to find reviews for this health plan company, and I can’t even find them on Google! What the hell is going on? Is this a scam? I’m scared and confused.
