Grew out of CHP+

I forgot to renew before the period ended and don’t have any coverage as of now. I am now a 19 year old college student and can’t rely on medicaid/ colorado access to cover my mental health costs such as medication management and therapy. I have a friend who is still on it as a 20 year old and I’m not sure what circumstances would qualify me to be able to keep this insurance. Needless to say it’s been essential to being able to afford psychiatric care.

Likely though, I am going to need to find private insurance. Given that I’m a colorado resident college student without a job right now since the semester is over, and I primarily care only for my mental health (don’t have any physical illness), where should I start looking? Can someone direct me to what steps to take to minimize costs? Like if I need to get a new job for the best chances or programs for emergency coverage.
