General question: How to contact "lab rep" for third party lab.

My wife went in for a bone marrow biopsy, we were told to "look at the shape of her red blood cells." A couple weeks later we got a $9,000 bill from a 3rd party lab for genetic testing, which we did not know about or approve. We specifically do not approve genetic testing any more since that is explicitly denied in our insurance (we found this out doing IVF).

We called the doctor's office and they provided a consent form that was filled out by someone else with no signature on it.

Insurance is saying nothing because they denied it, since genetic testing is denied. The 1-800 number for the lab said they'd cut it in half if we paid cash, $4,500 is still way too much for something we did not approve or ask for. We submitted a case via the hospital patient advocate, but I'm thinking that will go nowhere.

I saw some advice on an old thread to "call the hospital lab rep" and that they would straighten this up.

Can anyone tell me how to reach whoever this person may be? Obviously that's a very vague question, but I'm just looking for any lead other than the 1-800 billing department.
