(GA) Ambetter sent out my monthly statement, and it says I don’t have to pay this month. Why?
I have Ambetter Health Insurance, and I’ve (so far) had no issues with them.
On the 28th of every month, I have automatic billing, and the amount I owe is taken out of my bank account. Sometimes, I’ll pay off what I owe earlier, or I will split the payment, and do it either in halves, or break down the full amount a little more.
This month, I’ve done none of those things.
Though automatic billing is on the 28th of every month, the final due date of the month is the 30th. This month, it’s 6/30/22.
When I received my statement in the mail, it says I don’t owe anything this month. The “total amount due” section is $0.00. In the past due/credit balance section, it gives my monthly amount with a minus sign (-) in front of it.
Does that mean I owe that amount? Or I don’t owe it since it has a minus sign in front of the amount? And besides, I paid last month’s bill! I never NOT pay the amount due!
I’ve been trying to contact Ambetter, but I don’t know if they’re just closed on the weekends or what. I logged on to my profile, and it says I’m still enrolled. And it again says I don’t owe anything for this month.
What could be the problem? Am I going to get kicked out of my health insurance or something?
Any help would be welcome!
Also: does anyone know any other numbers I could call to ask about this problem?
Thanks!
(Sorry if my flair is wrong, I didn’t know what to choose.)
