Freedom Life underwriting for United Health. What’s the catch?

I was contacted by this “health advisor” who I assume works for Freedom of Life Insurance. He called me multiple times since I applied for enrollment on healthcare.gov and I never answered. I ended up enrolling into a HMO plan with Florida Blue with a $0 deductible and $5,500 OOPM.

He called me again tonight asking me if I had made a decision and how much I was paying for that plan.

I told him $890 after $150 tax credit due to my household income (2ppl) of $90,000. He then proceeded to tell me that it seemed too much to him and that he could get me “private insurance” which would be half of what i’ll pay with florida blue according to my age and health status.

After a 40min phone call he showed me a plan offered by United underwritten by his company for $530 including health, dental and vision.

I am not sure if there is a catch to this or if it’s a real thing.

Anyone dealt with this specific plan/company? Why not choose that over a plan off the Marketplace?

Also, the plan he offered was a PPO with I learned is better than HMO

Thank you
