For the third this month we applied for Medicaid for my son.

My son is autistic and was in foster care for a long time. He was supposed to have Medicaid for life, that disappeared.

I have been dealing with my State Senator's office trying to get insurance for myself, my wife and son for many months now. That office has the Deputy Commissioner of Human Services call me often.

Today, yet again they had my son apply for Medicaid after getting denied a couple of days ago when his salary is $10,400 a year.

She basically just went over everything and put it through again. Basically, he can't work more than 28 hours a week at minimum wage to have Medicaid in this state. He was making slightly more than minimum wage, so it is less hours. Idk if he went over that at some point or what happened.

Now, he has been on call and hasn't worked for about 3 weeks, so they think it should go through. His job hired way too many teenagers than they needed so my son us getting 0 hours. It may work out for him insurance wise. We shall see.
