First time enrolling in non-employer sponsored plan and over my head

I just accepted a new position that does not have an employer-sponsored plan. In my attempt to proactively get some information, I believe I made a Cardinal sin. I put my information into a website that seemingly is passing said information along to a ton of hungry insurance agents looking to push for my business. It was a lapse of better judgement and I’m kicking myself for the oversight (trying to be kind to myself using oversight rather than acknowledging my stupidity).

1) Is there a way for me to opt out of this across the board rather than through each individual agent, or am I stuck to sleep in the bed that I made here?

2) Does anyone have any recommended resources to get some of this information on my own prior to my need for it so I can do a little research without the overwhelming pressure of these potentially shady agents? For reference I’m in PA if that has any bearing on where to look.

Thank you in advance for any guidance!
