Filed an Appeal with Anthem Blue Cross, and still haven’t heard any response after 60 days. What would be next steps?

Back in October of 2022, I went in for a yearly checkup, and also received a prescription for anti-depressant. Also did a follow-up video appointment in December. At the end of the day, total was around $800.

This was done through an in-network Aurora clinic, and the NP that that saw me was listed as an option on Auroras website. In January, I received a bill from Aurora, saying that Anthem wouldn’t cover it (even though online, the visits were coded as preventive care, so shouldn’t have cost anything accept for copay).

Long story short, was told by Aurora that I was most likely right and that Anthem should’ve covered it. I filed an appeal online per email instructions I received from a phone representative. It’s been 60 calendar days and still no mail correspondance from Anthem. Has anyone had this happen to them?

Since they haven’t fulfilled the 60 day response, what would be my next steps? I sent another letter through the portal (as they specifically say only written correspondence is done for these appeals). Would next step be to go to small claims court? Apologies if dumb questions, it’s just annoying how nothings been done by them for 2 months. Thanks!
