Express scripts over charging me on medication
Ill keep this simple. I was prescribed a specific asthma medication that My doctor said was covered by my insurance despite not meeting my deductible. She sent this prescription to a local CVS for me to pick up. Before I went to CVS to pick this prescription up I checked express scripts, which I have used in conjunction with my Insurer, Cigna, and find the price to be 188$ for 3 months' worth. I decide to go to CVS to compare prices and the price is almost triple that of express scripts. 350 for one month of the medication. The pharmacist double checks the price using my insurance card and but the price remains the same.
I then leave and return home only to find out that the price has almost tripled on Express scripts, now stating the price is 415$ for the medication. Clearly there was some sort of communication between the CVS pharmacy and express scripts but I have no idea why this sort of thing happened. I even went back to CVS to talk to the pharmacist and ask what she did with my card, her response being she only checked the coverage using my insurance card.
Below is an Imgur link with two photos taken in an hour interval showing the price increase. I am at a loss for words on this situation and have yet to receive an email response from express scripts as to why this happened. I tried calling them but was on hold for almost an hour. Does anyone have an explanation for this or some sort of similar experience ? Clearly something Happened at the CVS when the pharmacist ran my insurance card but I have zero explanation and am now forced to pay triple the price for the same medication. Something is fishy about this whole ordeal.

The top shows the price as of now and the bottom shows the price before I went to CVS.
