Hi guys, I’m recently dealing with a new diagnosis meaning I have a new doctor and a bunch of labs & appointments booked. Unfortunately for me my Doctor is in network ,but the hospital he works for is not. Because the hospital he works for is not in network a majority of the bill is not covered unless it’s under his provider info instead of the hospital’s. Is it possible to get an estimate/quote from the out of network hospital to see how much the ultrasound would be for me with my insurance before I commit to it? Also is it possible that the out of network hospital themselves submit the claim under the doctor’s number instead of theirs?

I’ve already debated about doing the ultrasound due to cost ,but for my peace of mind I’ve decided to do it ,but I know all these medical bills are gonna be another burden for me with all my other debts and bills so I would like to see what the cost could possibly be.
