Employer Health Insurance and Covered California

Hi everyone, I have a bit of an issue and hopefully you all can help. I currently have Medical since I wasn't working for a period of time. I just started a job at Amazon and I can't decide whether or not to enroll with Amazon, it's about $ 7.50 a week for basic insurance through Cigna. Now I know I won't be eligible for Medi-cal for anymore. Gross income will be about 41 k a year.. I will be looking for a better paying job soon. So I went to the Covered California page and there were plans that were $0 or $10 a month with my age, income etc. I read somewhere that if your employer offers affordable health insurance, you need to take it because if you just go with CC they will make you pay the premium or something along those lines? Anybody know about this? I'm not sure what to do and also if I was to go with CC is there an asset limit? Thank you so much, I only have 2 days to decide whether I will sign up for Cigna with Amazon.
