Email from Healthcare.gov claims I need to cancel my Marketplace plan because someone in my household has CHIP or Medicaid. This isn’t true and I don’t know if I need to take action.

Here's the email:

We’ve sent you an important notice about your Marketplace coverage and costs.

According to our records, at least one person in your household may have both a Marketplace health plan with financial help and coverage through Medicaid or the Children’s Health Insurance Program, (CHIP). In most cases, people with Medicaid or CHIP don’t qualify for financial help with the cost of their Marketplace Plan and should end their Marketplace coverage. If they don’t, they’ll have to pay full price for their share of the Marketplace plan without the premium tax credit or other cost savings.

If you need help ending someone’s Marketplace coverage, contact the Marketplace Call Center at 1-800-318-2596 (TTY: 1-855-889- 4325). You can tell the call center representative that you might want to end Marketplace coverage for someone who also has Medicaid or CHIP.

I am registered to my parents' address, and while they have MediCare (65+), there is no one with CHIP or Medicaid. I, myself, did not apply to either of these programs (I have no kids, and no one under 18 lives in the household). I am on a plan by myself. I'm concerned that with the recent SSN leak, my identity may have been stolen to register for benefits, therefore interfering with my ACA coverage. But in case this is a phishing scheme, I've also not clicked any links in the email. I did separately look at my account on the marketplace website and it gave me a similar message, so it seems legit to me.

Is this just a blanket email that's going out or do I need to take action and get this rectified? I can't afford a higher premium and I don't have options through my job, so I'd rather nip this in the bud before they start charging me out the &ss.
