Does my wife getting offered full-time count as a qualifying event for me to join her health insurance?

I am a freelancer and get my healthcare through the Marketplace.

my wife also is a freelancer and has health insurance through her parents

she has been freelancing for a company for some time now and has been offered a full-time position at this company which includes health benefits.

The issue is my open enrollment ends December 15th and the company is being a bit dodgy about when she goes full-time and now has told her that she won’t be full-time until the latter part of December.

Ideally, we would both like to get on this health insurance but I have to sign up through the marketplace by December 15th.

When she does get hired full time does that count as a qualifying event for me to switch from my marketplace insurance to her company insurance?

Other things to note if they matter:

– We live in NYC

-She has been a “permalancer” for 3 years for this company so the hiring is more of a title switch and offered benefits than a proper hiring from an interview

Thank you
