Does my parents income count against me?

I'm 26, so I'm currently dealing with the nightmare that is buying my own health insurance. I'm unemployed currently, though will hopefully be starting a part time job at Tops fairly soon. So far it seems like I should qualify for Medicaid, right?

But here's the problem. I still live with my parents, and every application I've tried to fill out asks for household income instead of just my own. I don't know what they make off the top of my head, but do know it was enough to prevent us from qualifying for any aid growing up. Does this mean they will use my parents' income to deny me coverage? There is absolutely no way we can afford the current prices of an individual plan.

For added context, I am autistic but have minimal support needs. I understand that could qualify me for extended coverage under my parents, but only if I was completely unable to work? Do I have that right?

Anyways, I'm freaking out because deadlines are looming and Medicaid was probably my last hope. Am I completely screwed?
