Deductibles and OOP Max with Primary and Secondary Insurance

Open enrollment is coming, and we're trying to figure out the best plan to elect and whether or not to keep me on my husband's plan as secondary insurance for next year. Currently I am covered through my work as primary, and because it was so late in the year and our plans provide some different coverages, decided to keep me on my husband's plan as secondary. Keeping me on his plan as secondary only costs us about an additional $250 for a full year. We are expecting to welcome a baby in April of next year and intend to add baby to husband's insurance as that is currently the family plan that has my step-child, and adding baby to my plan is significantly more expensive.

My plan through work is a PPO with a $2000 individual deductible with 30% coinsurance after the deductible is met and $4000 out of pocket max.

My husbands plan is an HDHP with a $3400 family deductible with 20% coinsurance after the deductible is met and $12000 out of pocket max.

My question is whether amounts billed and paid through my primary insurance also contribute to the deductible and out of pocket max for secondary insurance, helping us meet the family deductible faster, should baby incur any large medical bills next year.

Basically, if I paid $4000 meeting my out of pocket max for my primary insurance, does any of that $4000 count towards the $3400 deductible of my husband's secondary insurance?
