Deciding on an insurance for fertility help?

Hoping to get some opinions/help with deciding on which insurance my wife and I (same sex couple) should use for fertility treatments. We are looking to do IUI at a fertility clinic, my wife will be carrying, and we do not currently have any reason to believe she has fertility issues. We are struggling to decide if we keep her insurance, assuming nothing will be covered, in hopes that treatment costs are about the same as the increases we would see if she switched to my insurance AND if she qualified for coverage?
I tried putting together a table of the coverages her insurance has, and what my current and future (2 person) coverages my insurance has.

Her current insurance has little coverage – only the diagnosis of infertility is covered. They do provide a program for IVF, however we are not yet using IVF.
My insurance does have some coverage with a caveat of needing an infertility diagnosis. Apparently, some doctors will diagnosis same sex couples according to the medical definition of infertility, but we do not know if our clinic would do this since we are waiting for our appointment in June.

It doesn’t seem like it would make sense to have her on my insurance plan WITHOUT an infertility diagnosis. If she were to receive the diagnosis, would it make sense? Also, her enrollment period is different than mine (hers is in the summer, mine is in the fall). If she unenrolls in hers in the summertime, does that qualify as a life event to enroll her into mine?
